Yell staff take to the trees for £1 million challenge

By Paul Robins
July 01, 2009

Staff at Yell spent the day monkeying around as part of a fundraising challenge to raise £1 million for The Prince’s Trust.

Workers from the directories giant in Queens Walk took to the trees for an action-packed course of rope bridges, Tarzan swings and zip slides at Go Ape Forest Adventure in Bracknell.

Their efforts were part of the ‘Million Makers’ challenge in which 70 companies will battle it out to raise the most money for the youth charity’s business programme.

The nine-strong Yell team will spend the next month striving to come up with business ideas, which will be presented to a Dragon’s Den-style judging panel before going ahead with their lucrative projects.
