Partnership aims to tackle IT jungle

Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce (TVCC) has joined forces with a search engine company to help local businesses find the right technology suppliers.

The group has added Conjungo to its website to allow company bosses in the region to search for information and technology products without being bombarded with jargon.

Businesses are also able to read about the benefits of new technology through Conjungo’s ‘Go Understand’ knowledge site.

Commenting on the partnership, Ginette Gower, head of sales and marketing for TVCC, said: “The chamber has joined forces with Conjungo to provide Thames Valley businesses with access to the most independent and objective method of searching for local or specialised technology suppliers.

“We will do this directly through a ‘Powered by Conjungo’ search interface on our forthcoming new website so that our members can easily find suitable local suppliers.

“We will also be integrating Conjungo’s range of Go Understand content to enable our members to easily understand what benefits technology brings today, so that they can make the right buying decisions for their businesses.”

Dave Cruse, chief executive of Conjungo, added: “Our partnership with the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce group is strategically important to our suppliers because it offers them visibility to the type of local customers they specialise in servicing, while giving chamber members access to the type of local suppliers they are comfortable buying from.”
