Hoping for an award

A Caversham developer is hoping to win a prestigious industry award following completion of the firm’s first overseas project in Crete.
Caversham-Barnes is competing with companies around the world for the title of ‘Best Developer, Newcomer’ in the annual award scheme run by the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP).
The firm, based in The Warren, recently completed the sale of its first batch of luxury villas in western Crete and has begun a second scheme in nearby Vamos to tempt British buyers looking for a holiday home in the sun.
The company will attend a glitzy gala ceremony in London on October 3 when the winners will be announced.
