Law firm Shoosmiths has strengthened its commercial team with the appointment of Susan Atkinson.

She has worked with investment banks and financial services providers and was an in-house lawyer in the technology finance division of investment bank Dresdner Kleinwort.

Partner Paul de Vince, who heads the group, said: “Susan joining us is part of a group strategy to move into higher value, more complex commercial work, which, given the experience she brings and the quality of our existing client base, is something we’re well placed to do.”
