Award for Kennet Island boss

The man in charge of the Kennet Island development has picked up a top industry award for his excellent site management.

Kelvin Morrison, project manager for St James Homes which is

overseeing the construction of Reading’s new urban village, has won the National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Award for the second time.

The NHBC gongs recognise the top managers in charge of new build, conversion and housing association sites across the UK.

“I’m delighted to be one of the St James site managers to be recognised this year, and consider it a real

honour,” he said. “It says a great deal about the team at Kennet Island and how we work together on site.”
