GREEN Issues Communications, the political planning and consultation specialist, has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Simon Miller as managing director.

Company founder Tom Curtin has moved to the role of chief executive, where he will focus on client management, service delivery and new business.

Miller joins the South Street firm after three years as UK managing director of APCO Worldwide and was formerly a director at Hill and Knowlton.

Curtin said: “Green Issues has grown rapidly in terms of personnel, client base and revenues since its establishment nine years ago.

“We now have a team of 35 people based across a number of offices. 

“Such progress requires additional management expertise to help take the company forward and to build on its strong progress so far.

“I look forward to Simon joining us and to the next chapter in the company’s growth and success.”
