AN office furniture company held special seminars to celebrate the launch of its new Reading headquarters.

EFG Matthews, part of The European Furniture Group, has moved into a showroom near Gillette Way.

The seminars covered topics such as Repetitive Strain Injury and the Disability Discrimination Act.

Managing director Ken Ferguson said: “While this is the hub of our southern sales operation, we are also inviting customers and the local business community to drop in to use the meeting facilities and to work from the space.”

The launch event took place on Thursday.
