Bank goes for growth

1/ 8/2001

FORTIS Bank is extending services available to businesses in the town.

The Dutch bank, based in Imperial Way, deals solely with business accounts, and has added two new department heads to cater for what the bank describes as the "buoyant" Thames Valley economy.

Peter Wright, 50, has been appointed regional head of acquisitions concentrating on deals valued between £1 million and £10 million and Alan Grey, 34, becomes regional head of property investments.

Both will work closely with Fortis' Reading office to support local needs and to expand the bank's existing property finance expertise in the Thames Valley.
