The faceless new rulers of council

It was no surprise that 21 years of Labour majorities on Reading council came to an end on Friday morning.

Though the major parties will say otherwise, it is hard to see either Labour or the Conservatives gaining overall control until 2012 at the earliest.

   At least David Sutton had the courage to face the electorate rather than run away when the going got tough!

   John Howarth is one of the key reason's for Labour's downfall in Reading. There's a lot of his damage to be fixed by the new hung council, maybe someone will have the guts to fix the problems on the roads he intentionally caused?

   The Liberal Party isn't active in Reading.
